For many years before he became tech giant Uber’s Head of Corporate Development, Cameron Poetzscher spent years proving himself to be an incredibly effective finance, operational and deal-making executive. The bulk of his career was spent at Goldman Sachs, where he was a global investment professional, providing many Fortune 50 companies and other highly regarded clients with the best investment advice and guidance possible.

While at Goldman, Cameron Poetzscher also handled a great many pre-IPO start-ups, including a large number that were supported by prominent venture capital firms. In addition to those, he also found himself directly involved in a large number of very highly publicized mergers and acquisitions transactions. Prior to his Goldman Sachs time, he served as a consultant for Booz & Co in Australia. At that point in his career, he dealt with almost everything, including operational issues and broader strategic and organizational considerations. Most of his experience has been focused on the technology, media and telecom arenas, but he also has considerable experience with a number of iconic industry leaders and innovators.
